University of Windsor and Special Constables Reach Tentative Agreement
A tentative agreement has been reached between the University of Windsor and its 26 Special Constables, represented by Unifor Local 444. The previous collective agreement expired at midnight on September 1, 2023, prompting discussions that led to the new arrangement.
Details regarding the ratification meetings for the new agreement will be announced shortly, according to a recent social media post by Unifor. This development marks a significant step in negotiations that have been occurring since the expiration of the previous contract.
