Sharon Zobel Elevated to Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Silver Cross

Silver Cross Hospital has announced the appointment of Sharon Zobel, MHA, BSN, RN, as the new Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Zobel, who has been serving as interim CNO since July 2025, will now formally oversee all nursing operations within the organization.

Joining Silver Cross in 2020 as a nursing manager, Zobel brings over three decades of nursing and leadership experience to her new role. Throughout her tenure, she has demonstrated exceptional resilience and compassion, particularly during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Her efforts during this unprecedented time were pivotal in maintaining high standards of patient care.

Leadership and Experience

In her time at Silver Cross, Zobel has held various nursing leadership positions, including Manager, Director, and Administrative Director. Her leadership style is characterized by a commitment to fostering collaborative partnerships between nursing staff and physicians.
