Envision Night Offers Free Support for Youth Goal-Setting
A community initiative, known as Envision Night, is set to take place on January 15 at the Irricana United Church. This free event aims to combat social isolation among young people while providing them with the tools to set personal goals.
Designed for youth aged 12 to 18, Envision Night will focus on fostering connections and encouraging participants to envision their future paths. Attendees will engage in various activities that promote self-discovery, resilience, and community involvement.
Pre-registration is required by January 8 to ensure a smooth experience for all participants. Organizers encourage interested individuals to secure their spot early, as space may be limited.
The event is particularly timely, as many young people are struggling with feelings of isolation, a challenge that has been exacerbated by recent global events. By providing a safe space for interaction, Envision Night seeks to empower youth to build supportive networks and inspire ambition.
Organizers emphasize that the event will not only focus on setting goals but also on sharing experiences that help foster a sense of belonging. Facilitators will be present to guide discussions and activities, ensuring that participants feel comfortable and motivated.
Community leaders have expressed their support for Envision Night, recognizing the importance of addressing mental health and social connections among youth. This initiative represents a proactive approach to equip young people with the skills they need to navigate life’s challenges.
Those interested in attending can find more information on the registration process through local community boards and social media platforms. Envision Night promises to be a valuable opportunity for personal growth and connection within the community.
