Rediscover Vancouver: Join the Love Your City Campaign for Prizes
February is designated as the month of love, and this year, Vancouver is embracing that spirit with its annual Love Your City campaign. Seventeen Business Improvement Associations (BIAs) across the city are inviting residents to rediscover familiar neighborhoods while participating in an exciting contest with valuable prizes.
Engage with Your Community
The campaign encourages Vancouverites to explore their city like tourists. Participants are urged to grab a friend, take photos, and embark on a journey to reconnect with what makes Vancouver special. The Love Your City Instagram page will showcase various neighborhoods throughout February, providing instructions on how to enter the contest.
By visiting these neighborhoods, individuals can collect stamps on their Love Your City passport, which can be printed or used digitally on smartphones. Each stamp represents an activity, such as enjoying a coffee at the Federal Store in Mount Pleasant, dining at Bellaggio for an Italian meal in downtown, or shopping locally at MAKE Vancouver in Gastown.
Participants can earn stamps in various categories, including shopping, dining, health and wellness experiences, and more, across all 17 vibrant neighborhoods. This initiative not only aims to promote local businesses but also encourages community engagement.
Exciting Prizes Await
One fortunate participant will win a grand prize package valued at over $4,000 that includes Vancouver-themed goodies. However, the campaign emphasizes that everyone is a winner simply by participating, as it fosters a deeper connection with the city and offers opportunities to discover new favorite spots and experiences.
The giveaway concludes on February 28, 2024, at midnight. Eligibility extends to anyone over the age of 19 residing in the Greater Vancouver area. To participate, individuals should follow and tag the Love Your City Instagram page to share their experiences.
For detailed information on how to navigate the contest, including the list of participating BIAs and their boundaries, visit the official contest website. The initiative not only celebrates the love for Vancouver but also promotes local businesses and encourages residents to explore their city in a fun and engaging way.
