Fulton Presbyterian Church is set to host its annual trivia night fundraiser for Mission Starfish Haiti on February 1, 2024, at 18:00. This event will take place in the church’s Outreach Center, located at 311 N. Ninth St., Fulton. Participants can join for a fee of $15 per person, with tables accommodating up to eight individuals.

Founded in 2012 by Silentor Estil-Henderson, Mission Starfish Haiti operates a Christian school in Gonaives, a city with a population of approximately 300,000. The school currently enrolls 450 students, providing vital education to the local community. Estil-Henderson, a graduate of Bettendorf High School in 2007 and Iowa State University, has dedicated himself to improving educational opportunities in Haiti.

The trivia night promises to be an engaging experience, with proceeds directly benefiting the school and its students. Attendees can reserve a table or make donations by calling 563-249-3098.

As the event approaches, community members are encouraged to participate, not only for a night of fun but also to support a cause that has a significant impact on the lives of many children in Haiti.
