DeKalb Township Hosts I-PASS Update Event on March 25

Residents of DeKalb Township will have an opportunity to update their I-PASS transponders during a dedicated event on March 25, 2024. This initiative aims to provide community members with access to essential tollway and state services. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the DeKalb Township administrative building, located at 2323 S. Fourth St., DeKalb.

The DeKalb Township is collaborating with the Illinois Treasurer’s Office and the Illinois Tollway to facilitate this free event. Participants will have the chance to recycle their old transponders and exchange them for new I-PASS sticker tags. New I-PASS stickers will also be available on-site, ensuring that attendees can update their toll collection devices efficiently.

In addition to transponder updates, attendees will receive assistance in refreshing their I-PASS account information. This includes updating vehicle details, payment methods, and license plate information. For those who qualify, the event will also provide information about I-PASS Assist, a program designed to support low-income residents in accessing toll services.

Representatives from ICASH will be present to help participants reclaim unclaimed property, further enhancing the range of services offered during the event.
