The new Tray210 recycled, a collaboration between the Korean design studio intenxiv and manufacturer INTOPS under the rmrp brand, aims to change that narrative. With its innovative use of recycled materials and waste additives, Tray210 presents itself as a functional, aesthetically pleasing item that prioritizes design without sacrificing sustainability.

Innovative Design Meets Eco-Friendliness

Tray210 recycled features a circular shape with a diameter of 210 mm, which includes three distinct compartments. This design is a refined evolution of the original Tray210 form. The product emerged from INTOPS’ grecipe eco-material platform, reflecting a close collaboration between material science and industrial design. The intent was to break free from the stereotype of cheap recycled products, creating an item that is not only practical but also visually appealing enough to be prominently displayed.

The tray’s intuitive design includes a raised, ribbed bar that divides the central compartment from two shallow wells on either side. The central groove accommodates items such as pens, pencils, or chopsticks, while the side compartments are ideal for smaller items like earbuds, clips, or keys. Additionally, transparent and marble versions utilise recycled polycarbonate (PC) or polycarbonate/ABS blends, enhanced with ceramic particles or marble-like pigments.
