Jane Elizabeth Valois, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, at the age of 97, surrounded by her family in her home. Her life, which spanned nearly a century, is remembered with profound gratitude and love by those she cherished most.

Born on October 16, 1928, Valois lived a life filled with rich experiences and deep connections. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Jack Valois, and her eldest son, Murray Valois. The family finds solace in the belief that they are now together again.

A Legacy of Love and Laughter

Valois leaves behind a legacy that includes her children: Janice (Gord), Jimmy (Brenda), Billy (Paula), Jacalyn, Jeffery (Rachel), and Julie (Mary). She also leaves a large family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom adored her immensely. To them, she was not just a mother or grandmother; she was the cornerstone of the family, offering love, guidance, and laughter.

Her home in Hawk Junction served as a sanctuary for her family, a place filled with warmth, stories, and the joy of togetherness. A Celebration of Life for Jane Elizabeth Valois will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the FJ Davey Home or March of Dimes, with donations to be made payable by cheque.
