Four Suspects Sought After Armed Robbery in Prince Albert
The search continues for four suspects involved in an armed robbery that took place on December 29, 2025, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The Prince Albert Police Service responded to reports of a robbery in progress at approximately 09:05 a.m. in the 800 block of First Street East. According to police, a male victim was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint while providing a ride to four individuals.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the victim and began their investigation. Concurrently, a separate team of officers discovered a stolen truck in an unoccupied state at a parking lot in the 2800 block of Dunn Drive. This vehicle was seized for further examination as part of the ongoing investigation into the incident.
Investigators have identified two men and two women as the suspects in this case, all of whom remain at large. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the robbery or the suspects to contact the police immediately.
Attempted Vehicle Theft Leads to Arrests
In a related incident, police arrested two individuals following an attempted vehicle theft reported on December 31, 2025. At around 08:10 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Second Avenue West. A woman sitting in her vehicle reported that another woman had approached her, demanding that she exit the vehicle. When the victim refused, she was assaulted.
The suspect then returned to a truck and fled the scene. Fortunately, the victim did not require medical attention. Following the investigation, officers located the truck unoccupied in the 600 block of 28th Street West. Subsequently, police visited a residence and arrested a 40-year-old man, who has been charged with robbery. A 34-year-old woman was also arrested, but no charges have been filed against her at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
Police Investigate Stabbing Incident
On December 31, 2025, at approximately 09:50 a.m., police responded to a report of an assault with a weapon in the unit block of 28th Street East. Upon arrival, they found a man with injuries consistent with a stabbing. He was swiftly transported to the hospital for medical care.
Through their investigation, authorities determined that the incident occurred at a residential address in the same vicinity. Officers detained one male suspect at the location, who was later released from police custody after further inquiry. Authorities are asking anyone with information about the stabbing to reach out to the police.
