Pedestrian Dies After Hit-and-Run in Mississauga Incident
Peel Police confirmed that a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Mississauga on the evening of September 29, 2023. The collision occurred at approximately 21:05 local time at the intersection of Eglinton Avenue West and Fallingbrook Drive. Authorities reported that the vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene shortly after the collision.
Officers were dispatched to the area following multiple reports of the incident. Upon arrival, they found an adult male pedestrian who had sustained serious injuries. Despite immediate medical assistance, the pedestrian later succumbed to those injuries. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
