Surrey Police Seek Public Help to Identify Sexual Assault Suspect

Authorities in Surrey, Canada, are actively seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a sexual assault that occurred on January 16, 2024. The incident took place around 12:15 p.m. in the 10700-block of 146 Street, where a female victim reported being approached and assaulted while walking.

According to a news release from the Surrey Police Service (SPS), the suspect allegedly approached the victim from behind. Fortunately, the victim managed to escape and reached a safe location. The police are emphasizing the importance of community involvement in this case.

The suspect has been described as an Asian male, approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and around 30 years of age. He was last seen wearing distinctive clothing, including a white puffer jacket with black shoulders and sleeves, a fur-trimmed black hood, red shorts, and white Nike running shoes with black soles. The suspect was reportedly seen walking along 146 Street after the incident.
