The Putnam County Public Library District will host a winter art program titled “Frosty Friends: Art and Storytime” at its Granville branch on Saturday at 10 a.m.. This engaging event invites children aged 3 to 10 to enjoy winter-themed stories and participate in hands-on art activities.

Led by staff from Child Care Connection, the program will allow children to create unique snowman art using scratch-art materials. The combination of storytelling and creative expression aims to foster a love for art and literature among young participants.

In addition to the art activities, Child Care Connection staff will be on hand to assist parents with applications for the Child Care Assistance Program. They will also provide information on available resources to support families in the community.

The Granville branch of the library is located at 214 S. McCoy St.. For further details, interested individuals can contact the library at 815-339-2038. This initiative serves not only as a fun winter activity but also as a valuable resource for families seeking assistance and engagement opportunities.

The library encourages community members to take part in this enriching experience and cultivate a creative environment for children during the winter season.
