University of Illinois Extension Launches Tree Care Webinar Series
The University of Illinois Extension has announced the return of its Community Tree Care Series, a webinar program designed to provide accessible, research-based information on tree care practices. This initiative aims to equip participants—ranging from certified arborists to community volunteers—with the knowledge needed to maintain healthy trees and enhance urban forestry.
Effective tree maintenance is crucial for promoting healthier urban environments. Communities with well-cared-for trees benefit from improved air quality and a more comfortable living atmosphere. By offering this educational series, the University of Illinois Extension seeks to foster a deeper understanding of tree health and maintenance among individuals interested in their local landscapes.
Webinar Details and Registration Information
The webinars will be held live from 9 to 11 a.m. on select Saturdays, covering two topics per session. Registration is required, and participants can access six sessions for a fee of $10 for general attendance. Those seeking Continuing Education Units (CEUs) can register for $50.
