Youth Showcase Talent at St. Paul District 4-H Communications Event

Young speakers from the St. Paul District 4-H showcased their talents during a communications event held on March 7, 2024. Participants delivered presentations and speeches, receiving valuable feedback from volunteer judges, all while vying for top honors. The event, hosted by the Goodridge 4-H Beef Club, was described as a “great success” by the club’s General Leader, Coral Robinson.

Robinson expressed gratitude for the support from volunteers who made the event possible. “It was a pleasant experience for our Goodridge 4-H Beef Club to host a showcase of really amazing young speakers from the St. Paul 4-H District,” Robinson stated. She emphasized the importance of the judges, timer/tellers, and the emcee, remarking, “Without them, these events would not happen.”

The top prize winners will advance to the northeast regional competition in Bonnyville, scheduled for March 21, 2024. This opportunity allows the young participants to further develop their public speaking skills and gain experience in competitive settings.
