Darlene Crozier of Sault Ste. Marie has won a remarkable $100,000 in the Sault Area Hospital Foundation (SAHF) December 2025 50/50 draw. This unexpected victory has left her and her family in celebration, as the news came through a phone call that her husband encouraged her to answer.

Upon receiving the call confirming her win, Crozier was initially taken aback. “I really think you should answer this,” her husband advised when he saw the number appear on her phone, as detailed in a press release from SAHF. Crozier expressed her excitement and plans to use her winnings to spoil her grandchildren while also setting aside some funds for future needs.
